a title given to me three years ago, and the story isn't that interesting either. i couldn't think of a better username at the time, and hey, i didn't know i'd get so attached either. the point is, i figured that two years is a good milestone, no? the average lifetime of an online journal is only four months anyway. and did you know, the oldest abandoned blog found by the Perseus Blog Survey had been maintained for 29 months and 12 days? that's almost three years! if i kept this up for another four months or so [until i turn 19... a better milestone, you think?], i could beat that. haha.
but no. time to move on. find me now at http://xanga.com/u_topia - a blog as old as this one. winks*
relive the memories and begin the story again here - The Beginning.
| work was so slow. in fact, i was one of the only ones actually working. the rest of them were at the other register shopping eBay. lol. but it was okay. i like doing everything on my own without them hovering over me. i was fast too. i looked at the history and i averaged one transaction a minute when it was busy! =D
super fraction + kimmy watched Babel tonight. it was intense. totally emo after. and the out-of-order timeline totally confused me. all the explanations afterwards reminded me of The Lakehouse. haha!
here's to the end of 2006 and my last post. happy new year!
| okay.. i've put off writing in here for about two hours now. might as well get it over with. i feel like i can't sleep til i have written something.
pa was sooo whacked this morning. it happens everytime- its perfect friday night.. i come sat morning and realize all the things i overlooked or are completely wrong.. spend the entire service fixing it, and by the time its perfect, praise is over. ugh. i actually had butterflies this morning. i just wanted it to go perfect. and then i lost and found the pa keys. that scared me. haha.
i watched The Last Kiss again tonight at krystle's with alan and justin tonight. boys are stupid and girls are evil. sounds about right. LOL.
i fell in love today. it was a pair of boots. and a jacket. sigh. haha. =P
| pa went so smoothly tonight. i totally knew what i was doing. and me and dave had everything set up by the time everyone got there. so, we started on time. we also ended on time for once. as in before 10 pm. i'm making a difference after all! lol.
bags + shoes + jewelry = love. emergency shopping tomorrow. then Super Four's kicks off 2007!! =D
FutureSex/LoveSounds is winning right now. that could change though. hehe.
[omgsh... jess met a guy. she looooves him. hahaha. winks*]
| 4-dr.mawani, 5-dr.stewart, 11-dr.mawani, 15-dr.rootman, 16-dr.roland. and all because i saw dr.cline in oct. hmm.hmmm. big changes, something or other like that, he said. i wasn't paying attention. i hope i didn't like, relapse or anything. sometimes, i feel like i'm getting worse again. like deer lake days. with those stupid stairs that were the bane of my existance. like how i couldn't breathe when i got to the top. that would suck. that means May 05 @ BCCH would've been completely pointless. dear God, how many years have i been praying? i just wanna be better. but really... i feel fine now. --- Back to Basics, FutureSex/LoveSounds, The Sweet Escape, or The Open Door? all more or less equally successful, all with their earworm-worthy hidden gems, all artists i respect... two of four, i'm seeing in concert... [other two only have canadian dates in toronto and montreal... (why do they do that?! vancouver's just as great a city!!) disgusted* =P] but i still can't choose which album to actually buy. haha.
you know what? i think i'd love to be a music journalist. i'd get a lot of bad feedback though. its so hard to be neutral when it comes to music. haha. i think that's why music publications like The Straight and Blender always focus a lot on obscure music... that way they can avoid that. LOL.
